Camp Description


Viking Baseball Camp is designed for players who are interested in improving their baseball skills.

Players will be taught the fundamentals of the game along with ways to train and practice while preventing injuries.

All aspects of the game, including hitting, fielding, pitching, throwing and baserunning will be taught through a combination of lectures, drills, instructional workstations and game situations. Players of all levels are welcome. Players will be grouped according to age and ability.

A split week of camp is being offered due to the school ending date being pushed back from snow days.
Thursday June 26 ... 9:00am-4:00pm
Friday June 27 ... 9:00am-4:00pm
Saturday June 28 ... No Camp
Sunday June 29 ... No Camp
Monday June 30 ... 9:00am-4:00pm
Tuesday July 1 ... 9:00am-4:00pm
Wednesday July 2 ... 9:00am-1:00pm

Early Pick Up and Late Dismissal are available. Please contact Jason directly for these arrangements.

Each player must bring his own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, cleats/spikes, running shoes or turf shoes, hat, and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Catchers must bring their own gear.

Please check your email regularly as this is our primary way we communicate. Any additional information that we need to convey as the camp draws closer will be passed on to you via the e-mail address that you supplied when you signed up for camp. Please make it a habit to check your e-mail daily, this will eliminate any confusion and or miscommunication.

Camp Check-in


Players should check in about 30 minutes prior to the start of the session. Check in Opens at 8:15 AM on Wednesday.

Camp Waiver Information


A medical release form will be attached to your e-mailed receipt.

Please bring all signed forms to registration check in.

All care and precaution will be given to each camper. A certified trainer will be on hand at all times during camp.

Parking Information


Players are encouraged to park in the O'Keefe Center Lot



There will be a snack bar available that has lunch, snacks, and drinks available for the campers.



This is not an "overnight" camp. Players traveling from out of town will be responsible for securing their own accommodations.

Airport Pick-up / Drop-off Information


Closest airport: Logan International Airport - Boston MA
Salem State University will not be offering airport transportation.
