The USA Baseball 12U National Team Open Development Program will feature a series of camps across the country for athletes born after January 1, 2002.
These camps will place an emphasis on player development and fun, and will serve to deliver Team USA training techniques to aspiring national team players from coast to coast. Athletes will be offered a unique training opportunity with a curriculum developed by current and former national team staff.
In addition to the development opportunity, the program also includes a two-tiered identification process culminating in the selection of players to participate in the 12U National Team Trials. Athletes will first partake in the 12U Open Development Camps at various locations across the country. Players from the development camps will be recommended to USA Baseball officials. From those recommendations, USA Baseball will invite 100 players nationwide to participate in the 12U National Open. From the National Open a total of 10 athletes will be selected to participate in the 12U National Team Trials.
Age groups, per international guidelines:
• 2014 12U Open Development Camps: born on or after Jan. 1, 2002, for the 2014 12U NT
Players should bring the following gear to participate:
* White or Grey Pants
* Belt & Socks
* Baseball Cleats
* Batting Helmet
* Baseball Bat
* Protective Cup
* Catchers should bring their own catching gear
* Water bottle or drink

Official Cancellation Policy for all USA Baseball NTIS events:
Cancellations up to 8 days prior to the start of the event will receive a 50% refund of the registration fee. No exceptions will be made. The participating player will receive their refund within 30 days of the time of cancellation. Cancellations within 7 days of the start of the event will forfeit the entire registration fee. No exceptions will be made.
