The Sun Devil Baseball Academy presents the 2014 Summer Advanced Hitting Camp.

This specialized hitting camp is designed to cover various hitting drills and techniques in-depth. In this two-day clinic you will learn advanced swing fundamentals along with the approach that professionals use in developing a complete hitting stroke. Campers will receive video analysis of their swing in order to get a closer view of their own individual mechanics.
This camp is designed to cover, in-depth, various hitting drills and techniques. The emphasis of this two-day clinic is to teach and refine hitting fundamentals as well as help improve mechanics and offensive approach. ASU is annually among the top offensive programs in the country. Come learn the techniques that have made Sun Devil hitters so successful. You will have the opportunity to learn the skills needed to become a more refined hitter and be able to apply them to your game. It has helped many students become the players they are today and has given many others a chance to work with and eventually play for the Sun Devils.

For those wishing to register for both our Summer Advanced Hitting and Advanced Defense Camps, we are offering a discount for signing up for both! Camp is reduced to $499 when combined (a $99 savings!), and lunch will also be provided for those who desire to learn both offense and defense, the Sun Devil Way.

Advanced Hitting Techniques
The mental aspect of Offense
The camp will be headquartered at Packard Stadium, one of the top collegiate baseball facilities in the nation. Campers will use the ASU main and practice fields, bullpens, covered hitting facility, team meeting rooms and sports medicine facility. Packard is located at the SW corner of Rio Salado Pkwy and Rural Rd in Tempe.
Items to bring:
Bat, batting gloves, glove
Baseball pants & hat
Non-cleated tennis shoes or baseball turf shoes
Please label all personal items
An ASU athletic trainer will be present during all activity.
Water will be provided continually throughout camp day.
Parents are welcome to stay, watch camp, and sit-in on camp meetings.
Please check your email regularly as this is our primary way we communicate. Any additional information that we need to convey as the camp draws closer will be passed on to you via the e-mail address that you supplied when you signed up for camp. Please make it a habit to check your e-mail daily, this will eliminate any confusion and or miscommunication.
Camper check-in will begin approximately 30 minutes before camp begins on the first day at Packard Stadium. Camp will begin promptly at 1:00pm. Camp payment needs to be received prior to camp participation.
Parking is available in the Packard Stadium parking lot on the ASU campus. There is no cost for parking.
Airport Pick-up / Drop-off Information
All campers are responsible for their own transportation to/from camp each day for this commuter camp.
A camp store with ASU baseball merchandise will be available at Packard Stadium each camp day
What if I have to cancel a Clinic?
We do have what is called "Cancellation Protection". We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible. Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration. If you choose not to purchase Cancellation Protection, we offer you a camp credit for the full payment to be used at a future camp. The credit is valid for three years from camp date at any of our camps. Credit is also transferable to family members or friends, and good toward a future camp. If campers choose to not use the full payment as credit toward a future camp, they will be subject to a 15% cancellation fee.
