Dirtbags Baseball Summer Youth Camp II

Camp Cost: $150.00
The Dirtbags Summer Baseball Camps are open to ages 6-12 and offers quality instruction in all aspects of the game; hitting, fielding, baserunning, and pitching.
LBSU coaches and players will provide a positive, fun atmosphere designed to encourage learning the fundamentals of baseball. There is an approximate ratio of 8-10 campers per coach.
Campers will be grouped by age and ability, and the camp staff will do their best to fulfill teammate requests.
After Camp Hitting: (Optional) 3:30pm-4:30pm
The after camp hitting sessions provide greater individualized attention to the camper's hitting. Campers will receive additional instruction and repetitions to build off what was learned during the camp. Please check box on registration page if interested.

Please check your email regularly as this is our primary way we communicate. Any additional information that we need to convey as the camp draws closer will be passed on to you via the e-mail address that you supplied when you signed up for camp. Please make it a habit to check your e-mail daily, this will eliminate any confusion and or miscommunication.
Check in is between 8:30a-9:00a. Please check in at the registration table each morning so the camp coaches know your child has arrived.
Check out is between 3:00p-3:30p. Every camper has to be signed out every day with his camp coach. Campers not picked up by 3:30p will be added to the after camp hitting and you will be charged for that session.
Camp Waiver Information
Each camper attending the Long Beach State Dirtbag Baseball Camp must be covered by his or her parents' insurance. Any and all medical expenses resulting from injury or illness will be the responsibility of the camper's private insurance company.

The baseball field is located next to Walter Pyramid
Ample parking in parking lot 13 and the parking structure on Merriam Way off of Atherton Street. Cost of parking is $5.00 for all-day pass.
No lunch will be provided but water will be available to all campers.
This is day camp only. No overnight option available.

Airport pick up is NOT available for this session.
Long Beach State University Baseball merchandise will be available to purchase while at camp.
What if I have to cancel a camp?
We do not offer refunds on cancelled campers, just a future camp credit if you decide to cancel, but we do have what is called "Cancellation Protection".
We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible. Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 14 days prior to the start of an overnight camp, and 7 days prior to the start of a day camp. If you cancel within 14 or 7 days of the start of your session, we will give you a camp credit for all money paid. The credit is valid for three years from camp date.
Credit with insurance is transferable to family members or friends, and good toward a future camp.
Athletic Trainer: An athletic trainer will be provided during camp. In the event of an emergency the EMS will be called.
