College Baseball Camps

When it comes to coaches that are ready to take the next step in their careers, Wright State coach Rob Cooper is near the top of the list. Talk to any coach about Cooper and they'll tell you just how talented he is. They also will tell you how successful he will continue to be at Wright State and beyond. Cooper essentially has changed the attitude of the WSU program, leading them to overall records of 30-23, 36-22 and 32-27 the past three seasons. The Raiders also are expected to compete for the league title again this season. Cooper previously was an assistant for coach Rob Walton at Oral Roberts and has earned a great deal of respect from his peers in the coaching community. Remember his name in the future.

Camp Details

With the upcoming high school and little league baseball season around the corner, you can get more out of your game by sharpening the skills you need to take your game to the next level. The coaches and staff of Rob Cooper Wright State Baseball Camps have the expertise to give you the skills needed to make this your best season ever.

Rob Cooper WSU Baseball Camps presents the 2009 Holiday Indoor Baseball Clinics. There's no better way to improve a player's hitting, pitching and catching skills. Rob Cooper WSU Baseball Camps is offering multiple, two-day hitting, pitching and catching clinics, conducted on the Wright State University campus in the Nutter Center as well as at Extra Innings in Miamisburg. You will participate in 6 hours of intensive one-on-one instruction and drills. The clinics will also include instruction by current Wright State University players and coaching staff and each camper will receive a free camp shirt.

Each camper must bring his own baseball equipment. Players should bring a bat, running shoes or turf shoes and batting gloves, and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Helmets will be provided.

Camp Check-in

Players should check in about 30 minutes prior to the start of the session.

Camp Waiver Information

Medical forms will be attached to your e-mailed receipt and are available on-line. Please print fill out and bring to camp.

WSU Camp FAQs

Q. What should I bring to my baseball camp or showcase camp?

A. Many times the camp itself will have a recommended list of items to bring to camp, but here are a few things to help you. All position players should bring a bat and glove. Look like a baseball player by wearing a hat, jersey, belt, baseball socks, etc. You need to look the part. If you are a catcher, have your own gear. Hitters, bring your bat and helmet just in case. Don't expect to use the college's equipment and you must be ready to go! Borrow something from a teammate or coach if you do not have one.
