Corner of Pensacola Street and Champions Way - across the street from the football stadium.

Facility
Dick Howser Stadium has taken its place as one of the top collegiate baseball facilities in the country after a two-year, $12 million dollar project was completed in 2004. Located on the campus of Florida State University, the stadium has provided over two million fans with the feeling of having "the best seat in the house" to watch the fi nest in college baseball action. On April 2, 2005 Florida State University dedicated the fi eld at Dick Howser to current head coach Mike Martin. Florida State's skipper for the last 28 years now coaches on the diamond bearing his name, Mike Martin Field at Dick Howser Stadium.

Florida State's players and coaches enjoy the convenience and luxury of a clubhouse and locker room currently located behind the Seminole dugout. The Griffin Family Clubhouse was moved to the first base side for the 2004 season as the construction process was completed. The main locker room was described by former Seminole and 2004 World Series Champion Doug Mientkiewicz as being 'better than 95% of the big league clubhouses' he has seen. The locker room contains a personalized wooden locker for each player, a separate locker room for the Seminole coaches and trainers, and a video area where FSU players and coaches can watch film.

The stadium also houses all of the baseball offi ces. The coaches' offi ces look over the stadium behind home plate. There is also a weight room and training area adjacent to the clubhouse.

MMBC Camp FAQs

Q. What is your refund policy?

A. We do not offer refunds on canceled campers, just a future camp credit if you decide to cancel, but we do have what is called "Cancellation Protection".

We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible. Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 14 days prior to the start of an overnight camp, and 7 days prior to the start of a day camp. If you cancel within 14 or 7 days of the start of your session, we will give you a camp credit for all money paid.

The credit is valid for three years from camp date at any of our camps, clinics or prospect events. Credit with insurance is transferable to family members or friends, and good toward a future camp.

Q. What should I bring to my baseball camp or showcase camp?

A. Many times the camp itself will have a recommended list of items to bring to camp, but here are a few things to help you. All position players should bring a bat and glove. Look like a baseball player by wearing a hat, jersey, belt, baseball socks, etc. You need to look the part. If you are a catcher, have your own gear. Hitters, bring your bat and helmet just in case. Don't expect to use the college's equipment and you must be ready to go! Borrow something from a teammate or coach if you do not have one.

What they're saying...

Just wanted to send note of Thanks to you for the excellent coaching and treatment our son, Stephen Krepps, received while attending your Super Skills Academy this past July. He returned home worn out, but very enthusiastic about the skills he learned from your coaching staff--particularly Coach Shouppe. He immediately began practicing and incorporating into his pitching game the mechanics he was taught during Super Skills week and the improvement was evident to all who watched.

His traveling baseball team, The Augusta Stars, recently competed at the USSSA 15U World Series in Orlando, FL and won the World championship. Stephen pitched a total of 12 innings that week and with his improved mechanics, it boosted his fast ball by a couple of mph clocking in at consistent 84-85 and up to 86. He was used to close several of the crucial games during the tournament with only one earned run and one unearned run scored against him. He was also awarded the MVP trophy for the world series!

It is his feeling and ours that your excellent coaching instruction helped greatly towards this achievement. We wanted to thank you all and to tell you that we look forward to his returning next year!

Richard & Carol Krepps

I just wanted to say thanks to you and the other coaches for putting so much effort into the camp to make it great for the kids. Ryan said he learned so much and he had a great time. Thanks again.
