Camp Details
This two day camp is open to players ages 8-12. It is a great opportunity to learn the
proper mechanics of both pitching, hitting and position play. It will offer both personal
and group instruction. Campers will be divided into groups with players their own age and
ability level. This is a Christmas gift to give you a head start on the competition.
Camp will run from 9:00am to 12:30pm. All players will be grouped according to age and ability.
Our staff is made up of former and current college players as well as Rider University assistant coaches and area college and high school coaches.

Interested in attending only one day? Just check the box on the registration page and $30.00 will be subtracted from your total. Please add in the comments section of the registration page which day you will be attending.
The northeast is a great baseball area with tremendous potential for continued player development. Rider University looks forward to working with area youth to develop their skills not only in the game of baseball, but on personal and social levels as well. Each camp will provide the player with a solid foundation in baseball fundamentals which will, in turn, make you a better player.
Our camps will teach valuable life skills as well. It gives the opportunity to meet new people and build friendships that will last a lifetime. Going to a Rider University baseball camp is a fun and educational experience for all involved.
Early Prospects Baseball Camps, LLC:
Early Prospects Baseball Camps was founded by Rider University Head Baseball Coach,
Barry Davis in 2005. It was established to provide quality baseball instruction in all
phases of the game. It offers players of all ages an opportunity to improve their individual
and team skills as well as the opportunity to showcase their abilities. Our camps are the
foundation of the Rider University Baseball Program. We will teach and instruct as we do
with our own players.
Camp Check-in
Players should check in about 30 minutes prior to the start of the session.
Items to Bring to Camp:
- Baseball or other athletic clothing
- Baseball bat and batting gloves
- Helmet if you have one
- Baseball Cap
- Cleats and tennis shoes

"This is not an "overnight" camp. Players traveling from out of town will be responsible for securing their own hotel accommodations."

What if I have to cancel a camp?
We do not offer refunds on canceled campers, just a future camp credit if you decide to cancel, but we do have what is called "Cancellation Protection". We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible. Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 14 days prior to the start of an overnight camp, and 7 days prior to the start of a day camp. If you cancel within 14 or 7 days of the start of your session, we will give you a camp credit for all money paid. The credit is valid for three years from camp date. Credit with insurance is transferable to family members or friends, and good toward a future camp.
