Baseball Ranked in Two Preseason Polls

The Coastal Carolina University baseball team has been ranked in the preseason polls by both Ping! Baseball and the Collegiate Baseball News, the two publications announced recently.
The Chanticleers are ranked 25th by Ping! Baseball. The website says "The Chanticleers may not have the talent they possessed last season, but they'll be armed with experience and the drive to go the next level which can take a team a long way." Coastal Carolina will face North Carolina, ranked number-one in the poll, Feb. 24 in Chapel Hill, N.C.
The Chants earned 428 points to finish 28th in the Collegiate Baseball News poll. Coastal Carolina will face three teams in the top-40 poll, including #19 Kentucky in the season-opening Caravelle Resort Tournament in Conway, S.C.
The rankings add to a preseason that saw senior David Anderson (Lexington, S.C./White Knoll) and sophomore Scott Woodward (Markle, Ind./Norwell) named to the Wallace Award Watch List. Anderson also was named to the NCBWA Preseason All-America Third Team.
Coastal Carolina will open its 2009 season on Friday, Feb. 20 at the Caravelle Resort Tournament in Conway, S.C. The Chanticleers return six starters and nine pitchers from last year's 50-14 team that advanced to the Super Regionals for the first time in school history.

What is your refund policy?
We do not offer refunds on canceled campers, just a future camp credit if you decide to cancel, but we do have what is called "Cancellation Protection".
We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible. Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 14 days prior to the start of an overnight camp or day camp. If you cancel within 14 of the start of your session, we will give you a camp credit for all money paid.
The credit is valid for three years from camp date at any of our camps, clinics or prospect events. Credit with insurance is transferable to family members or friends, and good toward a future camp.
