When is the latest I can register for a particular camp? This is determined on a case by case basis. The registration closing date will be displayed on the camp information page or registration page. We always recommend to register as soon as possible to make sure you get a roster spot in the camp. What is the cost of camp?Prices for each camp vary. Please refer to our camp website to check prices for the specific camp you are interested in. Do you pro-rate for camp if I can only attend one day of a two day camp?We do not pro-rate camps. Campers that can only attend a portion of a camp will still be charged the full amount to ensure equal treatment for all campers participating. Are parents welcome to stay and watch camp?Yes, parents are more than welcome to stay and watch camp. We will have a designated viewing area for parents for each camp, both outdoors and indoors. What happens if there was inclement weather? We will notify all camp attendees as soon as possible if there is any change in the schedule due to the weather. Will my son be playing against players his own age?The campers are always divided into teams by age. Campers will be competing against other campers of similar age and abilities. This policy applies at all of our camps. Can you hold my place in camp until I have a chance to send in my application? No. Per NCAA rules, we are not allowed to hold any spaces for campers. All camps are filled on a first come - first serve basis. Your application and deposit must be received by the camp director for you to be accepted and registered into the camp. Do you accept walk-in registrations? If there is still space available for a camp session we do accept walk-ins. Traditionally, our camps fill up fast and it is in your best interest to reserve a spot in advance. If we are full for a session we are unable to accommodate walk-in campers. Also, It is unlikely that we would accept walk-ups for any of our Prospect camps which are for high school players and registration is limited by position. Will there be any medical staff at camp?Yes. All camps will be staffed by at least one athletic trainer. Even if I am from the Toledo area, should I attend a Prospect Camp?Yes. Rocket Baseball has designed the camp to offer both local and outside prospects the opportunity to demonstrate their baseball skills in as competitive an environment as possible. Members of the Toledo Baseball staff, as well as several college coaches, will participate in instruction and evaluation during camp. Prospects will leave the camp with added baseball knowledge as well as a sense of what it is like to be instructed as a member of The University of Toledo's baseball program. Do players from our camps get recruited to play at Toledo?Yes. Numerous players have first been "discovered" at our prospect camp, and we hope that this year is no different. By allowing players to play baseball at a competitive level on our campus, our staff is allowed the opportunity to concentrate and offer feedback to players instantly. Can players sign up for more than one position? (Prospect Camp)The Prospect Camp is filled on a first come-first served basis by primary playing position, followed by secondary position. The applicant must choose a primary and secondary position for which to apply. You may play at more then one position in the Camp, but players are assigned to teams using their selected primary position. We will have a wait list at every position. |
