Peter Smith Junior Tennis Camp (I)

The main goals of Peter Smith's Summer Tennis Camps is to HAVE LOTS OF FUN, and LEARN about the game of tennis. Beginners will be taught the basic fundamentals of tennis. The Intermediate players will work on developing solid ground-strokes, serves, and volleys. The Advanced juniors will focus on refining their overall game by simulating pressure situations during game-like scenarios. Good sportsmanship and a positive attitude are strongly promoted. All campers will receive a Summer Camp T-Shirt, and fun prizes will be awarded.

38 Match Win Streak

College Tennis

The USC men heave a 38-match winning streak into their final nonconference match of the regular season on Monday (March 26). The Trojans (18-0) prep for Pac-12 play with a matchup against No. 42 Boise State at 3 p.m. at Marks Stadium on Monday.

ITA RANKING UPDATES The USC men remain ranked where they left off in 2011 -- at the top of the national rankings for the eighth straight cycle (latest released March 20) in a 2012 season that the Trojans hope to finish out on top of for the fourth straight year. In the latest individual rankings (released March 13), defending NCAA Singles Champion Steve Johnson weighs in at No. 2 to lead a full lineup of ranked Trojans. Fellow senior Daniel Nguyen is next at No. 16, followed by ITA Southwest Regional Singles Champion Ray Sarmiento at No. 24, along with No. 30 Yannick Hanfmann, No. 41 Emilio Gomez and No. 121 Roberto Quiroz. In doubles, USC has Hanfmann/S. Johnson ranked No. 6 in the nation, and Nguyen/Sarmiento at No. 21. Continued.....

The coaching staff at The Peter Smith Tennis Camps take pride in teaching the sport of tennis to players of all ages and ability levels.
