Mike Martin Baseball School
Welcome to the Mike Martin Baseball School in Tallahassee, Florida. Our staff is here to provide your son the best week of baseball he has ever had. We provide many great baseball camps with numerous options for high school baseball players and youth players. Our showcase clinics and other great baseball programs are a must to attend at Florida State Univeristy.
As you may well know, the further you advance in the game of baseball, the players with the better baseball skills are the individuals who are the better players. It is very difficult for a poor player to become a great player, but with continued solid, sound work on the main baseball skills (hit, hit with power, field, throw and run), a determined player can and will continue to improve. Improvement from day-to-day, week-to-week, month-to-month will help prepare you for the next level. Frustration is part of the game, but being able to over-come failure is a mark of a true winner!

MMBC Camp FAQs
Q. Can parents come out and observe the baseball school?
A. Yes, any time. It may be best to check your son prior to coming so you will know what field he will be playing on. All parents must observe FSU parking regulations during the week. We will have an "open lot" at the stadium on Friday only. If you wish to observe the school during the week, please park at the Studio Green Residence Hall or at one of the metered lots on campus. Please be considerate of others when you park at the stadium - do not block the driveway or the stadium entrance. The Baseball School is not responsible for any parking tickets.
Q. What should I bring to my baseball camp or showcase camp?
A. Many times the camp itself will have a recommended list of items to bring to camp, but here are a few things to help you. All position players should bring a bat and glove. Look like a baseball player by wearing a hat, jersey, belt, baseball socks, etc. You need to look the part. If you are a catcher, have your own gear. Hitters, bring your bat and helmet just in case. Don't expect to use the college's equipment and you must be ready to go! Borrow something from a teammate or coach if you do not have one.

What they're saying...
“ Chip,
I am the lost mother that you talked to per cell phone last night trying to find Osceola hall (in the dark). I just want to thank you for all your patience. We finally made it; you may have met Josh and Mandella by now. They (we) were very tired last night and I didn't come in the dorm (also Josh wasn't too crazy about that either!).
”
